You can't with the windows cursors. The standard ones (arrow, hand, move, resize, help, pen) are all the same size for the most part. You will need a website.

1. pick the layout and look for the code the website provides(usually right below the image, or it'll say "click here to get this layout")

2. copy the code.

3. log into your myspace so it's on your home page and hit edit profile.

When you add something to myspace all you're adding is simple html/css code. For each feature you're adding has separate codes to add. So the answer is yes, that doesn't mean that every place will offer just cursors though. Some places might supply you with more then just the cursor codes though. Sorry if that confused you but that's the more in depth answer.

I've made a small Flash movie with a custom cursor on it to go on my MySpace page as a contact table. Problem is, it makes my default cursor flicker in and out of existence on the rest of my page. I've applied the following ActionScript to the cursor:

I'm trying to upload a picture that has a transparent background. I tried using photobucket and tinypic, but the background keeps on coming up white. I tried saving the file as jpg, gif, and png, then upload it again and each time the background that should be transparent, comes up white. It looks transparent in corel paint shop pro (with like the white and gray squares) but everytime I upload it, its all white, and I want it transparent because I'm making a cursor for my myspace! what should I do?

I was undecided on where to put the hotspot (pointers) for the keyblades and depending on the keyblade design, that's where I put the hotspot. Some keyblades like One Winged Angel, have the hotspot at the tip of the blade design while other keyblades just have it at the tip of the key. So don't get confused now. The 'A' tag is called an Anchor.

Javascript is the only thing that can command a mouseOver or mouseOut or any such thing like that - however, developing on polly_peptide's answer, you can use CSS.

CSS can do a wide variety of things include hide/show images/text meaning if you hide one and show another - it'll have the same effect.

You're myspace account will be banned for removing ads, don't try it.

It comes with your free cursor. You should take that back off and try another my space layout site that doesn't have all of that junk built into it.

You really shouldn't remove them as you may be violating the authors agreement to offer you the design code. However, if you still want to do it in your edit profile, look for where the actual image is located, you will likely see: background: url('some url'); just delete it. It is a good idea to copy your currentprofile in case you mess something up you can put it back.

Removing those kind of ads arent against myspace TOS. You will only get banned if you remove the banner ad myspace puts on there. But to remove the add your talking about you, in the code you got to get the cursor, look for something that has the link of the website you got the code from. Example:

Most of the time the code will look exactly like that. Or something simmular, any code with advertisement will have a link back to the site, just remove anything with their link in it.

Oh, It may be against the site rules (of the site you got the code from) to remove the ad, but this is totally up to you!

You never use an url unless you want to lead someone to that site. You always get a code. You put every code you wanna use in your about me section unless it tells you otherwise. The about me section can hold alot of text.

Why does my MySpace cursor flash when I move it around?

I got a $ sign cursor for my MySpace from Cursor Mania, and after I used MySpace Profile Editor and other things, it blinks really fast when I mive the mouse, and when my cursor doesn't move, it's a regular arrow. It becomes the cursor that I want when it moves, but that cursor I want flashes when I move it. Is there another code on my page that is messing with that code? Go to Thomas Myspace Editor. This is what you will use to create your Myspace code.

Next create an account with Photobucket. Do a Yahoo Image search for pictures of your subject(team or whatever) pic the largest files you can of the pictures(a 200 x 500 file is much smaller and will need a lot of tiling, than say a 2000 x 3000) save the pics you like in your picture file on your computer(they can also be used as backgrounds or wallpaper on your computer). Next go to your photobucket account and upload several of the images you might want to use.

copy the URL for the image you would like as a background(use select all and copy). Now go to Thomas Myspace editor, on the background tab change the "Use background image" tab to yes, this will activate the background URL box, paste your image URL in there, then below that choose centered and tile as options.

Now go through the tabs and choose tables, outlines and etc. The default on Thomas is clear tables so your lettering will need to contrast your background. When you go to the last tab and it gives you the code click on preview, if you like it, paste the code into your "about me" in edit profile, if you don't think it's quite right close the preview box and try some different things. One tip, go slow with the editor, if you rush it while it is getting the codes it will freeze.

How can i unhide my friends from this myspace layout????

I'm not positive since I didn't look through the entire code but this looks like it's -just- your layout code. You need to find the code you added to hide your friends and erase that one. If your layout did this, then I'm terribly sorry..because I'm rather tired and can't go through the entire code right now...but I would suggest that you repost this same question and put it in the MySpace category. There was a very nice person who helped with one of my MySpace questions a while ago. Good luck.

Go to your layout code and find a segment that looks like this:

{display: none !important}

Then delete it. Your friends should show back up. Good luck!
