well on myspace, im trying to bold some of my text, and the layout i have doesn't let me bold any of my text, so im looking in the layout code and im trying to find out how i can make my text bold..

yes i know to use "%26lt;b%26gt;text here%26lt;/b%26gt;" but it doesn't show. i will give you guys the code, and if someone can edit it and make the font so that bold text can be seen then repost it?

Wow there's a lot going on there.

A better idea (rather than wading through all that code) would be to add a div tag around your text and add some inline CSS to bold it, like this:

%26lt;div style="font-weight: bold"%26gt;Type Text Here%26lt;/div%26gt;

That should nullify whatever CSS is being applied to your text already.

Hi,

All CSS code written is embedded CSS. Means on the same page CSS classes are defined.

If the CSS content is in another file and linked to your page then it is external CSS.

If the CSS is implemented in tags with "style" attribute is called inline CSS.

The implementation priority is

Inline CSS

Embedded CSS

External CSS

So you can go for inline CSS which has the highest priority. All the code written is either "embedded" if in same page or may be external. So if you will implement inline then before your text add some style attribute as

%26lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"%26gt;text%26lt;/span%26gt;.

Don't use %26lt;div%26gt; tag for making text bold because it is a container tag and may destroy your page layout
